Is the documentation fee on this quote allowed in my state?

The standing comes from the same doc-fee rule table the report evaluates a quote against — statute, cap and verification status per state. A state whose rule is not primary-sourced says so instead of guessing.

Needed where the cap is a percentage of the price.

Choose the state and type the documentation fee from the quote. The result names the state's standing — capped, uncapped, regulated, or a rule Carlarity has not verified against a primary source — and, where a cap exists, whether the quote is inside it. A fee within the cap is still a line you can negotiate.

What this does not answer

Legal and expensive are different questions. A fee can be within the cap and still be the most negotiable line on the quote; the report weighs it against the rest of the deal.

Where this ends

A calculator answers one line. The report answers the deal — price against the market, every fee and add-on classified, the loan, and what to say back.
